As a key member of our research team, you will play a crucial role in assisting Consultants/Senior Consultants in preparing in-depth study reports and conducting primary research.Assist Consultants/Senior Consultants in preparing market/opportunity assessments, competitor intelligence, and best practices related to market/businessConduct end-to-end involvement in terms of execution of primary research strategy, including planning, tracking, and drafting discussion guidesOwn the interpretation-based secondary research process in paid and public sources, showcasing sound knowledge of effectively using databases such as Factiva and Questel OrbitPrepare slides independently, with guidance from senior team members, focusing on executive summaries and problem-solving expertiseParticipate actively during proposal preparation, contributing feasibility assessments, background/domain slides, and sample output slide preparationRequirements:Bachelor's and/or master's degree in chemical/materials science or related fields, or equivalent experienceMinimum 3-6 years of experience in customer research or consulting engagementsExcellent grasp of core subject matter (domain) and ability to comprehend new, related subject matter quicklyAbility to conduct comprehensive secondary and primary research independently using diverse information sourcesMeeting timelines for deliverables without compromising quality of outputHands-on experience with MS Office suites, especially Word Document, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficiency in working with databases like Factiva, Bloomberg, and Questel Orbit/Thompson InnovationOrganized, detail-oriented individual with good time management skills
