Procurement SpecialistAs a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing supply chains and ensuring the timely availability of raw materials and products.Procurement & Sourcing:Identify suppliers for general purchaser requirements such as packing materials, consumables, chemicals, ingredients, and raw materials.Develop new supplier relationships to ensure a seamless supply chain.Source packaging materials suitable for frozen products.Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.Price Negotiation & Cost Control:Negotiate competitive rates while ensuring quality and timely supply with suppliers.Monitor price fluctuations of key raw materials and provide market intelligence reports to inform procurement decisions.Work on cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:Coordinate with production, stores, and logistics teams to ensure adequate inventory levels and prevent stockouts.Plan procurement schedules based on production forecasts and seasonal availability to maintain a smooth supply chain.Ensure timely delivery of materials to maintain continuous production flow.Vendor & Quality Management:Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure raw materials meet product specifications and food safety standards.Conduct vendor audits and inspections where required to maintain high-quality standards.Maintain supplier documentation, certifications, and agreements to ensure compliance.Documentation & Reporting:Prepare purchase orders, GRNs, and maintain accurate purchase records to track procurement activities.Update procurement data in ERP or company systems to ensure real-time visibility.Generate regular purchase and cost analysis reports to inform business decisions.
