Job Title:Cloud Data Migration SpecialistAbout the Role:We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Migration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data platform, you will be responsible for migrating legacy on-premises data systems to a modern, scalable cloud-based data platform using Snowflake on Azure.Key Responsibilities:Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Airflow, and DBT to ingest, transform, and load data into Snowflake.Cloud Migration Support: Assist in migrating existing on-prem data workflows and databases to Snowflake on Azure, ensuring minimal disruption and high data fidelity.Data Modeling & Transformation: Develop robust data models and transformation logic using DBT and SQL, aligned with business requirements.Containerization: Use Docker to containerize data services and workflows for consistent deployment across environments.Database Engineering: Apply strong SQL and Snowflake expertise to optimize queries, manage schemas, and ensure data quality and performance.Version Control & Collaboration: Use Git/GitHub for source control, code reviews, and CI/CD integration.Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement logging and alerting mechanisms.Security & Governance: Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards are met throughout the migration process.Requirements:To succeed in this role, you should have:Proficiency in Python scripting and database engineering.Experience with Snowflake, Azure, and Docker.Strong understanding of data modeling, transformation, and optimization.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Benefits:We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth and development.What We Offer:In addition to a rewarding career, we offer a range of benefits to support your well-being and success.
