Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Terraform Cloud Migration Expert to lead the migration of an on-premises
infrastructure as code (IaC), Terraform provisioning, cloud architecture, and migration strategies. This role
requires strong expertise in Terraform to help us achieve a seamless, secure, and efficient transition of critical
infrastructure, enabling automation and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Migration Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a detailed migration plan
that aligns with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Terraform Module Development: Design, configure, and manage Terraform modules that meet security,
compliance, and architectural standards, ensuring consistency across environments.
- Infrastructure Assessment and Mapping: Conduct thorough assessments of on-premises infrastructure,
determining compatibility, necessary modifications, and migration best practices for Terraform Cloud.
- Implementation of IaC Best Practices: Establish and enforce IaC standards and Terraform best practices,
including reusable, modular code and scalable structures.
- Automation: Automate provisioning and deployment workflows, utilizing Terraform Cloud's workspaces and
other integrated services.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Document all Terraform configurations, migration processes, and system
designs. Collaborate with development, security, and DevOps teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with security
and business objectives.
- Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify and resolve issues that arise during migration, optimizing
configurations and workflows for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer: Train internal teams on Terraform Cloud and IaC best practices to build
internal capacity for ongoing support and development.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in IT automation, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles, with at least 3 years
working specifically with Terraform.
- Terraform Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Terraform, Terraform Cloud, and related workflows;
experience migrating from on-premises environments to cloud-based infrastructure.
- Cloud Platform Proficiency: Proven experience with one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Scripting and Automation: Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
purposes.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and
resolving issues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex
technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications: Relevant Terraform or cloud provider certifications (e.g., HashiCorp Certified: Terraform
Associate, AWS Solutions Architect).
- Security and Compliance: Familiarity with cloud security best practices, compliance standards (e.g., GDPR,
HIPAA), and data privacy regulations.
- Monitoring and Logging: Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g.,
Prometheus, Grafana, Jenkins).
Pay: Up to ₹2,000,000.00 per year
