Job Opportunity:We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Tester to join our team. As a Manual Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, accuracy and reliability of software applications through structured manual testing practices.This is an exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional teams to support smooth product releases. You will be responsible for planning test strategies, executing test cases, identifying defects and collaborating closely with colleagues to achieve project goals.Main Responsibilities:Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases and test scenarios to ensure seamless user experiences.Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke and user acceptance testing to identify and document defects.Collaborate with product managers, developers and QA team members to clarify requirements and resolve issues efficiently.Validate application functionality against business requirements and specifications to guarantee alignment.Participate in requirement reviews and provide test effort estimates to inform project timelines.Ensure adherence to established QA processes and contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting innovative solutions.Prepare and maintain clear testing documentation and reports to facilitate knowledge sharing and decision-making.Support release cycles by conducting thorough pre-release testing to ensure a high-quality product delivery.Mentor junior testers and contribute to QA knowledge sharing to promote growth and expertise within the team.Key Skills and Qualifications:Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), System Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Quality Assurance methodologies.Proficiency with defect-tracking and test-management tools, such as Jira or TestRail.Ability to write comprehensive test cases and scenarios from requirements.Experience testing web and mobile applications, with a strong analytical, troubleshooting and documentation skillset.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings clearly, with excellent communication and documentation abilities.Familiarity with basic database concepts and ability to validate data using SQL, a plus but not required.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, preferably with a focus on software testing.3-7 years of hands-on experience in manual testing within product-based or service-based environments, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.About This Role:The ideal candidate will bring a passion for quality assurance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.How to Apply:If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a background in software testing, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative software applications.
