Job Description: Accounts ExecutiveBana Eco Works (Bana) is a Bangalore-based company with expertise in waste disposal and recycling. At the moment, contracts have been given to Bana to manage the waste for the BBMP's east and west zones. In addition to operating from its MSW management plant in Kannahalli, Bangalore West, Bana is now establishing two more processing facilities in Bangalore North. Bana wants to take the lead in producing high-quality outputs from waste materials, including sustainable energy.We are looking for a skilled and proactive Accounts Executive to join our financedepartment. The Accounts Executive will play a crucial role in managing the financialtransactions and records of our organization. This role involves handling accountspayable and receivable, financial data entry, reconciliation, and providing support to thefinance team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail,and a solid understanding of accounting principles and procedureResponsibilities:- Process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, including verifying and coding invoices, preparing payment requests, and coordinating with vendors for timely payments.- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, such as issuing invoices, monitoring outstanding balances, and following up with customers for timely payments.- Perform financial data entry and maintain accurate records in the accounting system.- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and supporting schedules.- Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as aging reports, cash flow statements, and expense reports, to provide insights on the company's financial performance.- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including monitoring expenses and variances.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement and sales, to ensure accurate and timely financial information flow.- Stay updated with relevant accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance.- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Proven work experience as an Accounts Executive or similar role.- Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures.- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Familiarity with relevant accounting regulations and standards (e.g., GAAP).Location- https://maps.app.goo.gl/3Vn1zTUWh2CpAfh66
