Role Overview:
As a Catalogue Specialist, you will be responsible for managing product listings on various eCommerce platforms, such as Amazon, Myntra, Ajio, and others. You will ensure that our product catalog is accurate, well-organized, visually appealing, and optimized for sales. You will play a crucial role in driving visibility, product discoverability, and consumer engagement across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Listing & Content Management:
- Create and manage product listings on leading eCommerce portals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Write engaging and keyword-optimized product descriptions, bullet points, and specifications.
- Upload high-quality product images, ensuring they meet the requirements of each eCommerce platform.
Catalog Optimization:
- Regularly update listings with relevant keywords, promotions, and pricing to improve search rankings and product discoverability.
- Monitor competitors’ listings and suggest improvements to enhance visibility and performance.
- Inventory Coordination:
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure stock availability and prevent out-of-stock situations on eCommerce platforms.
- Manage product categories, attributes, and variants within the catalog to offer an easy and intuitive shopping experience.
Platform Management:
- Collaborate with key eCommerce platforms (Amazon, Myntra, Ajio, etc.) to resolve any listing issues or discrepancies.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, policies, and best practices for catalog management across various portals.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track listing performance, including sales, impressions, and product page visits, to optimize for better results.
- Provide regular reports on product performance and identify areas of improvement to increase revenue.
Product Knowledge & Brand Alignment:
- Develop a deep understanding of the products, including design details, materials, and sizing.
- Ensure that product listings align with the brand’s identity, positioning, and target market.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in catalog management, product listing, or eCommerce operations.
- Experience with platforms such as Amazon, Myntra, Ajio, Flipkart, etc., is essential.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Excel and eCommerce tools (e.g., Seller Central).
- Excellent writing and content creation skills, with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of SEO and keywords specific to fashion and apparel categories is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to track performance metrics and optimize listings.
