Job Opportunity: Web Crawling SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled Web Crawling Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and implementing web crawlers to extract valuable insights from the internet.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming and experience with web scraping frameworks such as Scrapy. Knowledge of browser automation tools like Playwright or Selenium is also essential. Additionally, you should be familiar with HTML, CSS, and selector languages like XPath/CSS.Your primary objective will be to develop and maintain efficient web crawling solutions that can handle anti-scraping challenges and ensure robust data extraction. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to improve data acquisition strategies and optimize crawling efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and enhance existing web scraping projects.Develop new crawlers using Python-based tools and frameworks.Utilize browser automation tools to handle dynamic content.Clean, validate, and integrate extracted data into downstream storage systems.Implement solutions for anti-bot measures.Optimize crawling efficiency and ensure compliance with web crawling best practices.Required Skills & Qualifications:Proficiency in Python and 2+ years of experience with web scraping frameworks.Strong knowledge of browser automation tools.Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and selector languages.Experience handling anti-scraping challenges.Familiarity with distributed scraping techniques and data pipelines.Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web crawlers.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Benefits:This is a completely remote position, requiring high-speed internet connectivity, a capable business-grade computer, and headphones with clear audio quality.Other Requirements:Please ensure a stable power connection and backups in case of internet/power failure.
