NC Programming Engineer

Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing CNC programs for milling, turning, and other machining operations. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and CAD/CAM software. Qualification : Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field. 2+ years of experience in CNC programming and machining. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks). Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC machine operations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Responsibilities : Develop and create CNC programs for Turning, Milling, multi-axis machines using CAD/CAM software (e.g., NX,). Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering models to determine machining operations. Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters for efficient machining. Set up and test programs on CNC machines to ensure accuracy and quality. Troubleshoot and optimize existing programs to improve cycle times and reduce tool wear. Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality control to ensure production goals are met. Maintain documentation for all CNC programs and revisions.
