Senior Operations Manager

Job Title: Senior Operations ManagerWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Operations Manager to lead our NOC function. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring consistent monitoring, alert handling, and routine execution.Leadership & Management:Foster a high-performing team of engineers across all shifts, providing mentorship, coaching, and feedback.Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance evaluations, and goal-setting.Recruit, onboard, and integrate new team members into the NOC function.Oversight & Governance:Own the daily operations of the NOC function, ensuring adherence to predefined procedures, escalation paths, and runbooks.Validate and improve health checks, monitoring dashboards, and operational KPIs.Incident Response:Serve as primary incident coordinator for major incidents (P1/P2) and oversee response efforts across shifts.Ensure correct triage, prioritization, and mitigation actions by the team.Coordinate escalation to Tier 2/3, Infrastructure, Security, and relevant stakeholders.Service Quality & Improvement:Monitor team performance, SLAs, and KPIs, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.Identify recurring issues, monitoring gaps, or operational inefficiencies and drive improvement initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and monitoring coverage.This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
