Job SummaryOur organization seeks a senior manager to oversee security operations across the terminal, coal handling plant, and associated facilities.Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will lead security teams, monitor critical assets, enforce compliance with ISPS Code, port security norms, and statutory guidelines. Additionally, they will prepare incident reports, manage MIS, daily/weekly/monthly security reports, and ensure implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).They will also supervise security staff, plan deployment, conduct regular briefings/drills, ensure discipline, grooming, training, and performance monitoring. Furthermore, the candidate will coordinate emergency response, lead crisis management, conduct mock drills, risk assessments, and vulnerability studies.Another key responsibility is liaison with local police, CISF, port authorities, Coast Guard, and district administration. The candidate must handle legal/security investigations, FIRs, and regulatory inspections. Moreover, they will conduct audits of critical assets, warehouses, coal stockyards, conveyors, and equipment.They must monitor high-risk zones including jetty operations, weighbridges, truck movement, and shift operations. In addition, the candidate will prioritize candidates with experience in ports, terminals, power plants, mining, steel, or large industrial operations.Qualifications & Skills:A graduate in any discipline is required. Additional certifications in Industrial Security/Risk Management are preferred. A minimum of 15 years' experience in security management, preferably as an ex-serviceman, is necessary.Strong leadership and people management skills are essential. Knowledge of ISPS/BIS/Port Security norms, familiarity with CCTV, SAP-based gate entry systems, access control, and patrolling planning are also required. Excellent communication and crisis-handling capabilities are necessary for this role.
