We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.In this role, you will:• Improve CI/CD toolking based on Jenkins and Ansible• Implement and improve monitoring and alerting• Build and maintain highly available systems• Lead and guide the team in identifying and implementing new technologies• Managing production infrastructure with infra as codeTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:• years of experience in Software Engineering with proven expertise in designing, developing and deploying DevOps based applications.• Strong Linux and windows systems administration background• Proficiency in micro services based architecture• Experience in logging and monitoring tools like Grafana, AppDynamics, Spring boot Java admin• Proficiency in using build and configuration management tools like Jenkins, Ansible• Strong knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Shell• Ability to present and communicate the architecture in visual form• Good knowledge of working on Agile methodologiesYou'll achieve more when you join HSBC.HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
