Primary Responsibilities:
Initiate various product accounts on systems.
Coordinate with teams such as Risk, Sales, and Documentation to ensure accounts are opened.
Navigate the Morgan Stanley organization across divisions for timely issue resolution, including communication with senior stakeholders within Operations and Business Units.
Organize and prioritize account onboarding for live trades.
Develop and enhance client relationships by providing exceptional service.
Participate in face-to-face meetings with key senior managers from clients and Business Units.
Engage in projects and initiatives that advance the onboarding strategy and provide value-added services to clients.
Collaborate with global counterparts on client projects or change initiatives.
Facilitate stakeholder reporting, meetings, and communications.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in the financial industry within Operations roles. Preferred experience in Client Onboarding, Client Relationship Management, Project Management, or Derivative Operations Trade Support.
Technical understanding of the transaction lifecycle in asset classes such as Rates, Credit, Equity OTC Derivatives, OTC Clearing, Listed Derivatives, FX, Securities Lending, and Commodities.
Proven experience in external institutional client communication.
Strong listening and verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to build credibility and strong relationships across global departments.
Independent navigation of the Morgan Stanley organization.
Strong analytical, numerical, and interpersonal skills.
Effective prioritization and time management abilities.
