Social Media Copywriter Responsibilities:
Create and oversee the development of engaging, high-quality copy for social media channels, ensuring consistency in tone and messaging across platforms.
Lead the strategy for social media content, including brainstorming and creating captivating posts, stories, and campaigns.
Conduct thorough research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor activities to inform content direction.
Edit and proofread all social media copy to maintain high standards of clarity, creativity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and sales, to create integrated content that aligns with marketing goals.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior copywriters, enhancing their writing skills and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns, using insights to refine and optimize future copy efforts.
Requirements and Skills:
4+ years of experience in copywriting, specifically for social media and digital marketing.
Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling abilities, with a robust portfolio showcasing diverse work.
In-depth understanding of social media platforms and the ability to tailor content to different audiences.
Strong analytical skills to assess content performance and adapt strategies accordingly.
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
