Job specifications
Education
At Least a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or any related discipline.
Work experience
- 5+ years of experience in solution development and operation, including in positions such as Agile Coach, product Owner, or Project manager.
- Strong experience in secure digital solution design or development /engineering (SW and HW) in large organization
- Strong experience in Secure DevOps development practices, and experience in secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong expertise in Community management as well as stakeholder expectations and experiences management
- Understanding of staff education, e-learning, knowledge management
- Excellent written and oral/digital communication skills with multiple levels of leadership involving both business and technical sides of the business
- Demonstrated passion for understanding ambiguous, complex problems and driving high-quality, innovative, and robust solutions.
Additional experience
- Technical leadership mindset, proactive and result oriented.
- Solid knowledge of industry Security standards and technology such as ISO27002, PCI Compliance, NIST/DISA, CSL; etc.
- Advanced knowledge of DevOps Architectures and principle.
- Effectively collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, from product owners to technical and DevOps teams.
- Capacity to map and document technical blueprint DevOps Architectures
- Autodidact and rigorous and comfortable working in fast-changing environments
- Strong communication and presentation skills for mentoring and fostering security culture
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skill and High level of personal resilience
- Self-driven, results-oriented approach to work. Ability to work in a team and coordinate together with the dispersed SecDevOps teams a community of 100+ Security Engineers.
- Ability to work under pressure and make sustainable decisions in time-critical situations
- Proactive attitude and high degree of independence.
- Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel
- Fluent knowledge of Business English, further languages are of advantage.
Main tasks
- Core responsibilities:
Operationalize the global technology and process enablement strategy by developing and maintaining security guidelines and standards within the SecDevOps Governance Center
Collaborate with the business to understand their specific security requirements
Ensure the regional rollout and implementation of centrally verified best practices and procedures and continuously improve the SecDevOps ecosystem by providing and gathering feedback
Contribute in overall SecDevOps Governance Center working groups on various topics (e.g., development of procedures and processes, piloting of new tools)
Conduct security reviews and assessments of SecDevOps infrastructure and processes to ensure compliance to corporate standards and policies
Gather requirements for the evolution of currently deployed security technologies and processes in the SecDevOps domain from different stakeholders such as the business as well as other InfoSec and IT teams
Support the evaluation and testing of new as well as the implementation and adaption of existing tools in collaboration with the business development teams
Collaborate with tool vendors on an operational level to ensure that open issues are solved, and influence future product development based on hands-on experience and ZEISS requirements
Provide guidance and support to development teams on secure coding and SecDevOps best practices (e.g., by planning and conducting trainings and workshops around ZEISS SecDevOps)
Act as liaisons between regional SecDevOps and other InfoSec and IT teams to ensure the correct implementation of security-related SecDevOps requirements
Foster a network and community by collaborating and coordinating different DevOps teams to ensure knowledge and best practice sharing
