Total Experience: 3 - 5yrs
What’s your new role about? The Data Analytics Engineer will participate in the definition, implementation, and support of Elevate’s data analytics platform. The engineer will work closely with project leads, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, configure, deploy, and maintain data processes. The right candidate will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day data analytics tasks and projects, support, maintenance, and improvement of our data ecosystem. The candidate should have a demonstrated background in data analytics and development. The candidate will be an excellent communicator and deem themselves as an all-star functional data analytics expert. The candidate will have significant and proven experience in managing data modeling, SQL, data visualization, and cloud data platforms like Snowflake.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with staff that have varying expertise and exposure to data analytics concepts in order to solve complex problems.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in order to adapt to the dynamic nature of discussions with other engineering, product teams, and business partners.
- Data configuration and customization including but not limited to data pipeline development, data warehousing, report setup, data imports, and third-party software integrations.
- Import and manage data between various system sources.
- Produce technical documentation for project and enhancement tasks, orient process users through workshops and demos.
- Drive data analytics project initiatives through requirements gathering, development work, and production releases following Change/Release Management processes.
Education:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology or equivalent experience
Domain Knowledge:
- If applicable, develop an understanding of the Finance/Loan domain to align technical solutions with business requirements.
Skills:
- Must-have skills (Technical + Softskills):
- Must have 3+ years experience as a Data Analytics Engineer.
- Must have experience with data modeling, SQL, data visualization, and Snowflake or similar cloud data platform.
- Must have excellent communication skills including teaching/mentoring other team members.
- Must have excellent collaboration skills but also be able to work independently.
- Nice-to-have skills (Technical + Softskills):
- Experience with Python, Gen AI.
- Experience with Microsoft DevOps.
