Experience: 8+ years
Responsibilities:
- Act as a hands-on leader, coordinating efforts across data engineering projects and directly contributing with hands-on development.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with business needs using Kanban workflows.
- Mentor team members and ensure the application of best practices and design patterns.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL (including Snowflake’s SQL variations).
- Experience with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data platforms.
- Solid knowledge of data engineering best practices, data modeling, and design patterns.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with ETL tools like Matillion or Informatica.
- Experience with generative AI tools for work acceleration.
- Knowledge of enterprise scheduling tools (e.g., RMJ, Jams).
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure DevOps and working in a Kanban environment.
