Job DescriptionAs a Backend Engineer for Real-Time Communications, you will play a pivotal role in crafting robust back-end services that drive analytics and automation at scale. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing APIs, processing streaming data, and integrating with voice/telephony and cloud services to deliver low-latency, high-reliability experiences.You will be responsible for designing, developing, and shipping backend APIs, background/async jobs, and secure integrations with external services. This includes building and optimizing real-time data pipelines for call/quality metrics; owning observability, tracing, and service-level objectives (SLOs); and troubleshooting SIP/VoIP issues using packet captures and logs.Design and develop backend APIs (Django/DRF) and background/async jobs (Celery/RQ)Build and optimize real-time data pipelines for call/quality metrics; own observability, tracing, and SLOs (p95/p99)Troubleshoot SIP/VoIP issues using packet captures and logs; automate analysis where possibleIn addition, you will containerize workloads with Docker, contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and collaborate on cloud deployment (Azure/AWS).
