About this roleThis is a critical position within our organization, focusing on cost management and analysis.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Cost Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transitioning BU level costing activities to finance CoE, establishing processes for analysis of variances, and providing business insights to reduce variances compared to established standards.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in SAP product costing and end-to-end process knowledge. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.Key ResponsibilitiesTransition of BU level costing activities to finance CoEResponsible for product costing activities performed within the ERP system (SAP) for markets that have centralized costing activitiesEstablish process for analysis of variances (Price & Factory) and provide business insights including actionable items to reduce variances compared to established standardsProvide support and guidance for inventory valuation, including calculation of capitalized variances and stock provisionsRequirementsCertified/Qualified Accountant: An accountant certified by a professional accounting body (Chartered accountant or Cost and Management Accountant)University DegreeA minimum of eight years of post-qualification work experience with a manufacturing organizationMinimum of six years hands-on experience with SAP product costing and end-to-end process knowledgeKnowledge on SAP MM and PP modulesMust have experience on how non-financial information impacts costingBenefitsThis role offers the opportunity to work with a global leader in the textile industry, with a rich heritage and a forward-thinking approach.
