Senior Data Engineer Role OverviewNet2Source is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in the Telecommunications industry to lead and execute data migration initiatives from on-premises environments to cloud platforms. About the JobThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Databricks, deep knowledge of data engineering best practices, and the ability to collaborate closely with internal teams and external customer stakeholders.This role involves designing, developing, and implementing data migration strategies from on-prem data warehouses to cloud platforms. Assessing existing data landscapes, identifying gaps, and defining migration roadmaps are also key responsibilities.In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout migration cycles, and optimizing workflows to support large-scale data movement in Telco environments.Key Responsibilities Data Migration Strategy & Execution Data Engineering & Pipeline DevelopmentRequirementsTo succeed in this position, you should possess the following skills: 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering Proven experience in Telecommunications domain (mandatory) Proven experience with Delta Live Tables in Databricks (mandatory) Strong expertise in Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Notebooks, Workflows) Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) Proficiency in SQL, Python, and distributed data processing frameworks Strong understanding of data modelling, warehouse/lakehouse architecture, ETL/ELT, and batch/stream processingPreferred Qualifications Databricks certification(s) Experience with telecom-specific data models, OSS/BSS systems, or analytics platforms Prior involvement in multi-country data migration projects Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps for data engineering
