Job Description: QA Engineer (4–7 Years)Location: BangaloreExperience: 4–7 yearsRole Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in API testing, UI automation, and database validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java Selenium, solid understanding of SQL, and exposure to performance or AI-based testing would be a plus.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform API testing (manual) including validation of request/response payloads, headers, status codes, and error handling.Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Java + Selenium.Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure end-to-end test coverage.Conduct database testing, write and execute basic SQL queries, and validate backend data integrity.Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools.Execute regression, functional, and integration test cycles.Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and continuous process improvements.(Nice to have) Assist in performance testing, monitor CPU utilization, and identify system bottlenecks.(Nice to have) Contribute to AI-based testing initiatives or automation enhancements.Mandatory SkillsManual API TestingUI Automation using Java + SeleniumBasic Database TestingBasic SQL commands & queriesGood to HaveExperience with performance testing, system monitoring, and bottleneck identificationExposure to AI-based testing frameworks or intelligent test automationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field4–7 years of hands-on experience in software QANeed analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
