Roles & Responsibility
- Developing policies relating to a company’s ethical, sustainable and environmental responsibilities
- Raising public awareness of a company’s social responsibility commitments through marketing
- Creating partnerships with clients, employees, suppliers, charities, and other groups
- Ensuring that a company’s policies meet legal and commercial needs
- Encouraging links between the company and educational or charitable groups
- Spreading the word in schools and local organisations about the company and construction in general
- Contribute to timely and accurate data collection and analysis at the corporate and site level
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program related to CSR, environmental science, sustainability, Aboriginal affairs, business, and/or other relevant fields
- Basic understanding of Global Reporting Initiative sustainability frameworks
- Developing and executing CSR programs as well as conducting periodic program reviews to assess outcomes and effectiveness
- Staying abreast of relevant research and trends in the areas of focus and promoting best practices
- Work with marketing and PR teams to drive internal engagement and promote storytelling
- Driving budget & monitoring spending to deliver results in line with planned objectives
