They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business understanding and communicate effectively to address discrepancies.Key Responsibilities:Monthly Management Accounts PreparationPrepare and review the monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet for multiple properties.Ensure accuracy and consistency in the financial statements, in line with company accounting policies and procedures.Business Partnering & Stakeholder CommunicationCollaborate with Finance Managers in the UK and Operations teams to ensure the accuracy of monthly management accounts.Analyze financial results and variances, providing detailed explanations and addressing queries to enhance business understanding.Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to clarify discrepancies and improve financial reporting processes.VAT ReturnsPrepare and review VAT returns for the properties in compliance with local tax regulations.Property-Focused Financial AnalysisSupport the financial management of a portfolio of properties, including a new fund with four properties and a Spanish property.Work closely with local teams to ensure that all financial and operational aspects are accurately reflected in the financial accounts.Language SkillsIntermediate Spanish proficiency (reading and writing) is essential, especially for the Spanish property.Technical SkillsStrong understanding of accounting principles, P&L, Balance Sheets, and VAT returns.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
