Job Title: Senior Financial ManagerJob Description:The Senior Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial accounting functions within an organization. This role requires a deep understanding of construction accounting principles, financial management, and compliance. The Senior Financial Manager will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining fiscal discipline, and supporting the overall success of construction projects.This position is responsible for all aspects of the accounting operations and cash management, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets.Ensure the monthly close is complete with all general ledger accounts reconciled and analysed, as appropriate, with variance analysis.Coordinate and facilitate the construction draw process, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds for construction activities.Manage the yearly audit and tax compliance process, including ensuring all information is in complete, accurate and available for the tax preparers and auditors.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries and ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transaction.Prepare and analyse the monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.Ensure control over actual expenses vs budget and participate in cash management position and forecasting.Required Skills and Qualifications:CA/CPA with 8-10 years of experience in the real estate/construction industry.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and quality of deliverables.Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.A challenging opportunity for a Senior Financial Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation.
