Role Summary:


Brand within Dentsu International: Dentsu Creative

Job Title: Intern - Copy

Location: Worli, Mumbai

Experience: Prior internship experience in advertising, marketing, or content writing can be advantageous but is not mandatory. A portfolio showcasing examples of written work, such as articles, social media content, campaign ideas, or creative projects.


Job Purpose:

The ideal candidate possesses a passion for writing and an innovative ability to create successful marketing campaigns and aid in creating company growth. You will be responsible for generating exciting and compelling stories, ad copies, blogs, taglines, etc on both digital and print sources of media.


Key Accountabilities

  • Assist in the development of creative concepts and campaign ideas.
  • Write clear, persuasive, and original copy for various platforms, including print, social media and digital campaign briefs.
  • Collaborate with art directors, designers, and account teams to ensure the copy aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Research industry trends, audience behaviour, and competitors to deliver relevant and engaging content.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure high standards of quality and consistency.


Professional Skills:

  • A degree in Marketing or a specialized course will be considered
  • Proficiency in major digital and print platforms
  • Strong command of the English language with excellent writing and editing skills. Ability to visualize and provide image references to the art team for execution along with concept & copy
  • Passion for creativity and storytelling.
  • A keen interest in advertising and understanding of brand communication.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media trends is a plus.
  • Result-oriented and Solution Seeker.
  • Team player, Presentable, and good communication skills.
  • Should be able to handle pressure and comfortable with strict timelines.
