Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Title:Summary:Plan and coordinate the procurement of raw materials and consumables for various plants globally to meet demand forecasts and ensure timely availability.Maintain production schedules based on monthly rolling plans, assess material requirements, and optimize inventory levels to reduce costs and minimize stockouts.Develop efficient distribution plans to allocate inventory to customer orders and warehouses, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.Analyze consumption patterns of raw materials and implement strategies to optimize planning and reduce detention and demurrage costs.Collaborate with other departments to align supply chain operations and track key performance metrics to drive team performance.Key Responsibilities:Create and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and available resources.Assess material requirements based on monthly rolling plans and ensure timely availability of raw materials.Develop an efficient distribution plan for inventory movement to warehouses and allocate inventory to customer orders.Effect cost reduction through value engineering and cost benefits analysis.Monitor consumption patterns of RM on a regular basis and take appropriate actions in raw material planning.Ensure no detention and demurrage incurred on raw material by efficient planning and scheduling.Determine optimal inventory levels for raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress.Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and effective supply chain operations.Track, analyze, and communicate key performance metrics of the team.Monitor slow-moving inventory and convert them into values.Use statistical analysis on demand and supply numbers to create meaningful action plans.Qualification:BE/MBA
