Job Title: Systems EngineerAbout the Role:This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced systems engineer to lead the design and development of avionics systems for ongoing and upcoming UAV platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for researching suitable electronic components, integrating sensors, developing autopilot and navigation software, assembling electrical and propulsion systems, conducting comprehensive testing, and implementing redundancy mechanisms.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop avionics systems for UAV platforms, including leading-edge technologies such as GPS, IMU, lidar, radar, and vision systems.Research and select electronic components, sensors, and hardware that meet the stringent requirements of UAV systems.Integrate advanced sensor systems for navigation and obstacle avoidance, ensuring seamless operation in diverse environments.Develop and maintain high-performance autopilot and navigation software using real-time data and control algorithms.Assemble, integrate, and test electrical and propulsion systems, including BLDC motors and EFI Internal Combustion Engines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.Conduct rigorous testing to validate UAV performance, stability, and reliability under various operational conditions.Implement robust redundancy and fail-safe mechanisms to ensure safe operations during flight.Maintain accurate records of design, testing, and configuration processes, documenting deviations and lessons learned.Investigate and resolve complex technical challenges during development and testing phases, driving innovation and improvement.Requirements:7-10 years of experience in UAV or aerospace systems, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.Proven expertise in avionics system design, integration, and testing, particularly in VTOL platforms, with a deep understanding of cutting-edge technologies.Strong proficiency in embedded systems, control algorithms, and sensor integration, with hands-on experience with flight controllers and single-board computers.Experience with protocols such as Serial, I2C, UART, and CAN, with a focus on high-speed data transfer and communication.Proficiency in assembly, soldering, crimping, and integration techniques for UAV systems, with a focus on quality and reliability.Analytical and problem-solving skills, with an innovative mindset and passion for UAV technology, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
