As a Financial Assistant, you will be responsible for collecting and validating general ledgers, invoices, payroll journals, contracts, and other accounting and financial records from clients.You will also prepare accurate cost reports using existing Microsoft Excel automated templates, review and validate cost reports prepared by other team members to ensure correctness and consistency, and prepare tax credit and grant forms.In addition, you will assist management with collecting government grant information and creating financial reports using Microsoft Excel, and proofread documents prepared by other team members.Requirements:A minimum of 2-year work experience in a similar business management positionExcellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to solicit the right information from clientsExcellent attention to details and the ability to spot inconsistencies and inaccuraciesHigh Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelQuick learner – ability to understand the business process planning, implementation, and trackingGood organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, occasionally with strict deadlinesOutgoing, positive, proactive, and self-motivated individual with the ability to work independentlyAbility to provide feedback to the rest of the organizationPreferred Skills:Business writing skillsExperience with consulting services type of businessEager to learn new skills and competencies and build a career in Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Business ManagementKnowledge of French languageKnowledge of social media platforms and business networking sitesBenefits:We offer a competitive salary and opportunities for advancement.Salary: $4-4.2 LPA
