A seasoned Contentful Architect plays a crucial role in designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining our Content Management System. Working closely with other technology leaders, developers, quality engineers, system administrators, project managers, business analysts, and end users, you will be instrumental in building a cutting-edge Ecommerce website and digital channels using Contentful. Effective problem-solving and communication skills are essential in engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders.Essential Functions:Experience in complete project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.To support the investigation and implementation of other improvements and developments, identified by the wider business, to enhance the performance of our digital platforms.Work alongside software developers and architects, UX / UI visual designers, and product developersUnderstanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and approachesExperience in Agile development practicesAbility to get things done without being micromanagedExcellent written and oral communication skillsRequire minimal supervision and provide oversight for assigned projectsPrepare proposals and time estimates for future workSchedules work to meet completion dates and technical specificationsProven ability to be effective and adaptable in response to frequent change and ambiguity Skills:8+ years building sites using: CMS, Java, J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Vue6+ years' experience maintaining and administering CMS3+ years' experience with creating responsive websites in ContentfulDesigning and developing infrastructure for modern contentful based web pagesDesign and create content models that define the structure and relationships of content types, such as articles, products, images, and videos.In-depth knowledge of Contentful is crucial. This includes understanding content modeling, using Contentful APIs (RESTful or GraphQL), managing content types, and working with entries and assets within the Contentful CMS.Implementing according to designs visuals for components and individual pagesExperience in integrating 3rd party services (translation) to contentfulMigrate WP-based content to contentful by mapping it to the contentful data model and building necessary tools to automate the taskAdvanced React JS front end skills, nodejs, typescript, nextjs/gatsbyStatic HTML and SSR experience,Knowledge about visualizing contentful data for the web,Setting up the infrastructure to deliver nextjs generated web pages to end-users and for editor preview including CI pipeline and CDNExtensive experience developing complex web applications with React, Hooks, and TypeScriptBuilding reusable components and front-end libraries for future useOptimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
