As a Senior Operations Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of Network Engineers.You will set priorities, distribute tasks, and ensure proper workload balance within the team.Driving professional development through training, coaching, and ongoing feedback is key to ensuring your team members are equipped to handle various responsibilities.Conduct regular meetings, performance evaluations, and goal-setting sessions to help team members grow professionally.Operational oversight includes monitoring, alert handling, and operational routine execution.Ensure all teams consistently follow predefined procedures, escalation paths, and runbooks.Validate and improve health checks, monitoring dashboards, and KPIs to maintain optimal performance.Critical incident management requires serving as primary incident coordinator for major incidents and overseeing response efforts across shifts.Correct triage, prioritization, and mitigation actions must be taken by the team during incidents.Coordinate escalation to Tier 2/3, Infrastructure, Security, and relevant stakeholders as needed.Monitoring team performance, SLAs, and KPIs is essential in identifying recurring issues and driving improvement initiatives.Own and update operational processes, SOPs, runbooks, and documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and monitoring coverage.Effective communication and reporting skills are crucial in providing clear and consistent communication regarding incidents, trends, risks, and operational status.Deliver daily/weekly operational reports, including incident summaries and team performance insights.Represent the operations function in internal meetings, service reviews, and cross-team coordination sessions.
