Job Description: Xebia is seeking a talented and experienced Java Backbase Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable Java applications integrated with the Backbase platform . You will work closely with our clients and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications integrated with the Backbase platform .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Java Developer , with strong proficiency in Java 8+.
Hands-on experience with Backbase platform (preferably CXP and DBS) .
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) is a plus.
Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Java or related technologies.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
