Experience: 4-9 years Location: Gurugram, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Jaipur Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Android Developer with a minimum of 4 years of experience, including hands-on experience with the Backbase Digital Banking Platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile application development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating innovative banking solutions that enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, focusing on user experience and performance.

Integrate with Backbase APIs to deliver seamless banking functionalities, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and user experience.

Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.

Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development and digital banking.

Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in Android development.

1+ years of hands-on experience with the Backbase Digital Banking Platform.

Proficient in Java and Kotlin, with a solid understanding of the Android SDK and Android Studio.

Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.

Familiarity with modern Android architecture components (MVVM, Live Data, etc.) and design principles.

Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience with tools like Figma or Sketch.

Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.

Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso) and writing unit/UI tests.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI).

Experience in banking or financial services application development.

Knowledge of security best practices for mobile applications.
