Data Architecture ExpertWe are seeking a seasoned Data Architecture Expert to join our team. As a key member of our data strategy group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data architectures that meet the needs of our business.Key Responsibilities:Create and execute a comprehensive data architecture strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives.Design and implement data lakes, data warehouses, and data lakehouses on cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.Leverage modern data technologies such as Apache Spark, cloud-native storage, and services to drive innovation and scalability in our data platform.Develop frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and automation (ETL/ELT) that ensure robustness, reliability, performance, and data integrity.Establish and enforce data governance, metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, and quality standards across the data ecosystem.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, BI, data engineering, and data science to understand requirements and deliver data solutions that meet enterprise needs.Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to data engineering teams to drive best practices and maintainability of the data platform.Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements to continuously evolve the data platform.Required Skills & Qualifications:12-15 years of overall IT experience, with at least 8+ years in a senior data architect role.Proven experience designing and implementing data lakes, data warehouses, and data lakehouses at enterprise scale.Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, cloud-native storage, and services.Deep proficiency in Apache Spark (batch and streaming), data ingestion frameworks, ETL/ELT workflows, and orchestration.Programming skills in Python for data engineering, automation, custom transformations, and scripting.Strong knowledge of data modeling, schema design, relational and/or non-relational data stores, query optimization, and performance tuning.Experience with real-time streaming and event-driven data frameworks, solid understanding of cloud-native data ecosystem.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership skills.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
