Mainframe Data Integration SpecialistThe role of a mainframe data integration specialist is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of enterprise data.Key responsibilities include analyzing legacy mainframe data flows, documenting source-to-target mappings, and supporting the ETL/ELT migration to Snowflake.This specialist will collaborate with data engineers to validate snowflake data pipelines and performance. They will also work with reporting analysts to ensure data supports Power BI requirements.Analyzing mainframe JCL jobs, COBOL programs, and batch workflows to extract transformation logicCreating and maintaining source-to-target data mapping (STTM) documentsDefining data transformation, aggregation, and derivation rulesPartnering with data engineers to validate snowflake data pipelines and performanceThe ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data analysis, data mapping, and lineage documentation.
