BookkeeperWe are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accounts and providing support to our accountants.Your main duties will include:Daily bookkeeping using Xero, including recording and categorising expenses, petty cash and receipts;Raising and generating invoices and ensuring correct reconciliation;Linking and reconciling bank feeds, Stripe, PayPal and other platforms;Attaching invoices and documents to Xero entries with accurate references;Ensuring all referencing is clear and traceable — from software to bank and vice versa;Managing the invoice process from creation to tracking and payment;Regularly reconciling transactions to keep books up to date;Ensuring compliance with UK financial regulations and HMRC guidelines;Keeping digital finance files tidy and accessible;Supporting accountant as needed for VAT, year-end and reporting.You'll be a great fit if you have 2–3+ years of experience in bookkeeping (UK-based work preferred), are fully proficient in Xero, AAT qualified or have completed a recognised UK bookkeeping course, and have strong knowledge of UK tax rules, expense categories and accounting standards.We offer a competitive monthly salary based on experience, ongoing support, training and development, a calm and supportive team with clear systems, and the opportunity to grow into a senior finance role over time.To apply, please send your CV and a short paragraph (3–5 lines) on your experience with UK bookkeeping + Xero to hello@premierjobhub.co.uk with the subject 'Full-Time Bookkeeper – [Your Name]'.
