Quality Control Engineer

NOVARGI Indian branch, an Indian established company belonging to the International Group NOVARGI, is currently seeking a Quality Control Engineer to join our Indian team based in Gurgaon.

NOVARGI Indian branch, is mainly focused on Engineering activities for the whole group and Project management activities.

About The Role:
As Quality Control Engineer you will be involved in Oil, Gas & Energy projects such as supply and installation of Fired Heaters, Reformers, Process skids mounted packages, Gas processing Plants, Incineration packages, ….
- Working on the activities related to the quality requirements applicable to the services, components and equipment to be supplied to clients in the projects to guarantee compliance with the requirements agreed with the client in terms of quality, always keeping in mind other aspects required by the project management (economic objectives, delivery times, etc...).
- Identification at the beginning of the project / purchase order of the contractual quality requirements.
- Transferring quality requirements to the activities developed during the project / purchase order (documents, requirements to vendors, inspectors,...).
- Create or participate in the creation of the ITPs of the project / purchase orders in collaboration with the Project Managers.
- Planning (schedule, internal/external resources, …) the inspection activities of the projects / purchase orders.
- Attend inspections of Welding works, NDTs, Assemblies, Painting, Lining (Castable and Ceramic fiber) installation, Packing, Valves, Mechanical components, burners, rotary equipment, and any of the materials and equipment involved in the Projects, considering always the criticality and priority identified to each purchase order and Vendor.
- Working on Non-Conformities to Sellers when necessary, guide and activate the involved Vendor in the most appropriate resolution of the same.
- Ensure that the project documentation (deliverable documents to the Client, Vendor documentation. …) related to QC evolves according to the project / purchase order planning. With this purpose proprietary ERP systems shall be the base of the document management.
- To create the deliverable documentation associated with QC.
- Review, comment and provide verdicts to the Vendor documents associated with QC.
- To keep updated all the QC reports (NC reports, ITPs, Vendor documentation and its status of approval, QC inspections plan, Inspection visits reports, …).
About Your profile:
- Master or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical.
- Additional degrees and certifications in welding works and NDE, lining installation/Inspection and others.
- at least 8 years of experience in similar function. (Welding, NDE, assemblies, Painting, Lining installation, Packing, …).
- Familiar with Indian and International suppliers of Industrial components and manufacturers for Upstream, Refining, Petrochemical or Chemical Industry.
- Proven experience for performing QC inspections.
- Skills for the generation of clear reports of QC inspections/visits in which it shall be synthesized all the relevant information arisen during the visits to the Vendors facilities.
- Clear orientation to the project quality requirements accomplishment in the Projects.
- Team work capacities.
- Professional English level.
