Job Description The Data Integration and Modelling Specialist is responsible for managing the data infrastructure and business warehouse within the Processes, Systems, and Governance department. This role ensures that all data related to purchasing activities is accurately integrated, modeled, and maintained to support decision-making and strategic initiatives. The specialist collaborates closely with IT, procurement, and other internal stakeholders to optimize data processes and enhance the overall data management framework.We are looking for a data enthusiastic colleague to join our SMART Purchasing and Digitalization team. If you are passionate about interfaces between business processes and data technologies, you might be just the right fit. Your responsibilities will include:Data Integration: Oversee the integration of data from various sources into the business warehouse, ensuring accuracy and consistencyData Modelling: Develop and maintain data models to support reporting and analysis needs within the purchasing departmentInfrastructure Management: Manage the data infrastructure, including databases and data warehouses, to ensure optimal performance and reliabilityData Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of data to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring high data quality standardsSystem Optimization: Work with IT and procurement teams to enhance the functionality and usability of data management systemsCompliance: Ensure all data management activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirementsStakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, and operations teams, to ensure alignment and support for data initiativesTraining and Support: Provide training and support to internal users on data management best practices and system usage Qualifications QualificationsBachelor's degree in data science, Information Technology, Business, or a related fieldMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in data integration, data modelling, or a related roleProficiency in data management systems, databases, and data warehousing tools Strong SQL and Excel skills are a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholdersStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to identify and resolve issues related to data integration and modellingExperience with specific data management and warehousing systems (e.g., SAP BW, Azure, AWS) preferredKnowledge of industry-specific data management practices and standards preferred Additional Information Ready to drive with Continental?
