Senior Data Platform ArchitectWe are seeking an experienced data professional to lead the design and implementation of scalable and reliable data infrastructure from the ground up.Key Responsibilities:Designing, building, and maintaining high-performance data platforms that meet business requirements.Developing robust ETL/ELT pipelines to process and transform large datasets efficiently.Owning the data platform lifecycle, including data warehousing, data lakes, and associated processing frameworks.Ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility for downstream consumers like analytics and machine learning teams.Solving complex technical problems related to data ingestion, storage, performance, and scalability in a distributed environment.Collaborating directly with senior-level engineers to build a cohesive data ecosystem.Required Skills & Experience:A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in designing and implementing production-scale data platforms.Demonstrable expertise in data engineering fundamentals, data modeling, and data warehousing/lake architecture.Experience with building and maintaining highly available data pipelines, ensuring data quality and governance best practices.Expert-level proficiency in SQL and strong programming skills in at least one language like Python or Scala.Hands-on experience with large-scale data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Flink).Proven experience with cloud-based data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, S3, Databricks).Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, Prefect).A proven track record of successfully architecting and delivering complex data projects.Ability to work independently and productively with minimal supervision.Bonus Skills:Experience with real-time streaming data technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Flink SQL).Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).Knowledge of modern data stack tools for quality and transformation (e.g., dbt, Great Expectations).If you have a passion for data engineering and are looking for a challenging role, please submit your application along with your GitHub links, resume, and a data engineering project you are proud of.
