Job Title:Senior Quantitative AnalystA senior role in the analytics team that involves leading independent validations and reviews of risk models.We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team. As a senior member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for leading independent validations and reviews of various risk models.In this role, you will perform hands-on quantitative model validation/review, including testing the model's conceptual soundness, data accuracy, methodology, and ongoing performance through techniques like backtesting, benchmarking, and stress testing.You will also provide an effective challenge throughout the model validation/review to ensure that models are robust, and all assumptions and limitations are justified.The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a quantitative discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.You should have hands-on experience in statistical and AI/ML model development or validation, with a strong understanding of quantitative modeling methods, including AI/ML algorithms used for various risk predictive models.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or SAS is essential, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Knowledge of model risk management policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory guidance is also required.Key Responsibilities:Perform hands-on quantitative model validation/review.Provide an effective challenge throughout the model validation/review.Presentation of findings, weaknesses, and observations identified from the validation/review to model developers/owners.Preparation of detailed validation reports and memos.Participation in internal audits and regulatory exams.Act as a subject matter expert on modeling techniques, risk management practices, and regulatory trends.About This Role:This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented team of analysts and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to complex business problems.If you are passionate about analytics, data science, and risk management, and have a strong desire to learn and grow, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role.
