Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Hardware Engineering Lead. You will be responsible for leading the hardware team across electronics, mechanical & firmware domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and testing of hardware components for our health-tracking and improvement devices.
- Oversee the entire hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, product, and design to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- 6-7+ years of experience in hardware engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading hardware development projects from concept to production.
- Strong knowledge of electronics, mechanical design, and firmware development.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the health tech industry.
- Knowledge of IoT and biosensors technology.
- Work experience at a startup.
