Operations Officer

Job Accountabilities:Overall responsibility of company assets including safe custody of product in hired terminal. To ensure product is unloaded, received, stored and distributed as per terms of the agreement with the terminal operator following best industry practices.Job Accountabilities:Minimum transit losses and operating losses within targetsCorrect accounting of product, analysis of daily loss/gain and initiate and initiate corrective measures to achieve targetAnalyze transit / losses per parcel and initiate corrective measures, timely recoveries and lodgment of claimsEnsure correct calibration of TLCU, Prover, weighbridge and Tank TrucksEnsuring day end reconciliation before leaving the Terminal.Operate within budgets and reduce costMonitor and control cost of utilities and operating consumablesEnsure nil demurrage on account of Terminal while unloading vesselsEnsure NIL product contamination.Delivery of Q & Q proposition and improved service levelTimely delivery of product to customerEnsure no customer complaints of density variation and water, sludge/sediments by periodic tank draining.Ensure timely dispatch of product to customers by control of TT cycle time within the terminalInduct TTs as per SOPs and keep record.Compliance of Operations, HSSE and Quality SOP#s and follow best industry practicesDaily reconciliation of Locks / Keys & sealsTT calibration and pressure testing and issuance of TREM card in terminalEnsure compliance to all operation, maintenance, Quality and HSSE Mgmt System processes by periodic audits with no NCsCoordinate with Logistic coordinator and TT Officer for availability of trucks, spot/additional requirements and Compliance of Operations, HSSE and Quality SOP#s and follow best industry practicesEnsure compliance to all statutory requirements by timely renewal of all licenses.Learning and DevelopmentEnsure toolbox talks to TT crew and other contract staffSkill & CompetenciesLeadership skillExcellent communication, reporting and presentation skill.Managerial, organizing and co-ordinating skill.System development skills.Analytical thinking and problem solving ability.Planning and decision-making.Self-motivated and strong organizational skill.Strong interpersonal skill.Team building skill.Innovative and out of box thinking capabilityEducation RequiredGraduate Engineering (Any Discipline)Experience Required4-6 years in the field of Petroleum Retail/Operations/Oil5 years in Airfield Refueling Operations
