Journey so far:

Having started in July 2020, BrightChamps is one of the fastest growing EdTech companies, globally. Our strong PMF, coupled with our remarkable execution, have translated into fast growth. Our growth is also attributed to the academy, conducting more than 0.1 million classes every month and the customer revenue directly funnelling into our growth.

Our growth curve gained traction from global marquee investors, including GSV Ventures (USA), Premji Invest (India), Binny Bansal (Flipkart founder), BEENEXT (Singapore). Valued at half a billion, in the past 3 years, we raised funding

Education10x, which was our first acquisition, has already scaled more than 10x, in just 6 months, with their expert delivery in courses on financial literacy. Schola, our second prized acquisition, is all set to create an impact across the SEA group.

With the most recent acquisition of Metamorphosis Edu, BrightChamps has entered the B2B arena. Metamorphosis Edu partners with schools across India to train students in skills linked to entrepreneurship. The startup also helps its clients come to grips with the National Education Policy (NEP). While Metamorphosis Edu has so far focussed on setting up entrepreneurship cells in schools to teach its courses, as the B2B arm of BrightChamps, it plans to introduce more skill-based learning courses.

We have plans to foray into other life skills, with more acquisitions underway, globally.

What is this role about?

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Chief of Staff to lead central project management initiatives and drive organizational excellence. The ideal candidate will act as a central checker across key departments, optimize costs, and ensure seamless cross-functional operations. This role is pivotal in aligning teams to the company’s strategic goals and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Central Project Management:

• Oversee and drive strategic projects across the organization, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.
• Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives to eliminate silos and enhance collaboration.
• Track project performance, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions.

• Departmental Oversight & Quality Assurance:

• Serve as a quality checker for core departments, including:
• Academy: Ensure curriculum delivery aligns with educational standards and company vision.
• Customer Service: Monitor service quality, response times, and client satisfaction metrics.
• Class Quality: Regularly assess the delivery of classes to ensure engagement and effectiveness.
• Sales: Audit sales processes and targets to maintain a healthy pipeline and conversion rates.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend actionable solutions for improvement.

• Cost Optimization:

• Analyze organizational spending across departments and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Drive budgeting efficiencies by streamlining processes and reducing redundancies.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to implement cost-control measures.

• Strategic Advisory:

• Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to provide insights, identify gaps, and propose strategies for sustainable growth.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards for data-driven decision-making.

• Stakeholder Management:

• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with company priorities.
• Act as the CEO’s proxy in meetings, driving accountability and follow-ups.

6. Team Leadership :

Take ownership of managing and motivating a diverse team.

What will make you fit for the role

Pre-requisites:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Proven experience in project management, operations, or similar leadership roles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.

Proficiency in data analysis tools, project management software, and financial modeling.
