About Shantilal Muttha FoundationOur organization aims to strengthen the public education system and support schools in enriching their capacities for fostering holistic development of children with an emphasis on values-based learning environments and life-skills education.Key ResponsibilitiesThis role involves training teachers and other school stakeholders at the district level in collaboration with the Government of Maharashtra.We seek a candidate who can design and implement need-based capacity building programs for teachers and other school stakeholders.The ideal candidate will conduct online and offline training sessions for teachers and other school stakeholders, including documenting capacity building activities, handholding visits, and maintaining records regularly.This role also requires compiling, analyzing, discussing, and finalizing region-wise specific capacity building needs in consultation with the Head.Frequent field visits to project schools are necessary to observe classrooms, understand challenges faced by teachers, and provide support to overcome these challenges.The successful candidate will support the program team in identifying and documenting good practices and case studies.They will also assist the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team in collecting qualitative information as needed.A key responsibility of this role is preparing and submitting reports about developments made towards achieving planned objectives and quarterly/annual reports within specified time frames.The ideal candidate should possess excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, Marathi, and Hindi. They should also have excellent presentation and delivery skills, be able to relate to trainees at all levels, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to encourage and motivate people.RequirementsWe require a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Social Work, or Development Studies. The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of experience in capacity building/training and post-training support, along with hands-on training experience with teachers and other stakeholders through facilitation and participatory workshops.
