Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled pre-sales engineer to join our dynamic team. The Presales Engineer will play a crucial role in the sales process by providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, articulating value propositions, crafting customized solutions, and providing strategic guidance that aligns with our customer’s e-commerce needs. This role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate technical features into business benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.

· Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of e-commerce solutions.

· Coordinate with Solution Architects to ensure client’s requirements and concerns are addressed promptly.

· A good understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem in the sense of possible integrations with other platforms (ERP, PIM, OMS, WMS, etc.)

· Provide technical expertise and support during the pre-sales process by answering technical questions, preparing, and presenting tailored solutions that address customer concerns, and ensuring they are in alignment with the customer’s business objectives.

· Develop and deliver technical proposals and proof-of-concepts.

· Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFPs (Requests for Proposals), and other sales documentation.

· Support the sales team in closing deals by providing technical insights and ensuring a smooth transition to the implementation team.

· Work closely with the sales team in identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and driving them toward successful outcomes.

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Experience & Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a Presales Engineer or Sales Engineer in Preferably in e-commerce space in the last 4-8 years.

· Strong understanding of a minimum of one or more e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce) and technologies (Headless, PWA, microservices, etc.)

· Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

· Experience in preparing technical documentation, proposals, and RFP responses.

· Experience with RFP/RFI processes.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop tailored solutions for customers.

· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with customers.

· Proven track record of managing multiple prospects during the presale’s lifecycle and acting as a single point of contact
