We are looking for a .NET Software Full stack Lead Engineer


(Contractual opportunity - 4-5 hours in the day, 3 hours in the evening around 9 pm Permanently remote )


Job Title: .NET Full Stack Software Lead Engineer (Minimum 9 years of total experience)


  • 8+ years in a hands-on web application development role
  • Must have strong knowledge and experience with C#, .NET core, ASP.NET, Web API
  • Must have strong knowledge and experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, and angular 13+ (preferable angular 17, 18)
  • Must have strong knowledge and experience with SQL server or equivalent database - writing complex business logic in stored procedures and writing performant queries is required.
  • Must have experience with TypeScript.
  • Must have understanding and experience with reactive programming and familiarity with RxJs, NgRx
  • Demonstrated a history of leading teams when required and as excited to work as an individual contributor.
  • Familiarity with unit testing using C#, nUnit, xUnit or similar.
  • Familiarity with unit testing for Front end (JavaScript) is a big plus.
  • Must be interested in a long-term engagement.
  • Background in the cloud (Preferably Azure DevOps)

help with ongoing production issues if any.


Essential Functions:


● Lead architecture, design, and development of software applications at a

business entity level

● Design and develop solutions that strictly consider security, scalability, flexibility,

reliability, and availability.

● Lead and manage multiple Agile development teams' efficiency, productivity, and

processes.

● Demonstrate quantifiable improvements in software products across the

business entity through continuous process improvement, able to coach teams

and Dev Leads to yield higher levels of productivity and quality

● Work with business, application users and IT development to define and architect

robust and flexible applications and network architecture solutions

● Create application-level and enterprise-level architectural documents

● Work as part of an Agile development team to solve problems and develop

projects in a fast-paced environment.

● Mentor and review the work of more junior developers to ensure solutions are

appropriate and standards are followed.

● Delegate work as needed to ensure even distribution of workload amongst the

team.

● Evaluate third-party libraries, software, and vendors as necessary.

● Evangelize new technologies to utilize in application development

● Participate in technical/architectural governance to define architectural standards

and protocols

● Constantly strive to create secure, scalable, easily modifiable, high-quality

technical solutions and products that efficiently solve customers' problems and

adhere to enterprise architecture and technology strategy.

● Maintain excellent, proactive, and transparent communication at all

organizational levels to ensure an environment of learning, collaboration, and the

delivery of high-quality software.

● Help to foster company culture values of innovation, passion, accountability,

integrity, and respect to deliver service of unequaled excellence.

● Work with other architects to drive architectural alignment across divisions

● Perform other business tasks or functions as assigned.

● On-site or remote regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of

the job.


Skills & Abilities Required:


● Adhere to all PHI (Protected Health Information) and HIPAA (Health Insurance

Portability and Accountability Act) guidelines.

● Must have very strong programming experience in modern front-end and

back-end development with a focus on Microsoft technology stack.

● Must have strong knowledge of modern architecture design patterns and

software design practices and tools.

● 10+ years of experience with the development, design and architecture of

ASP.Net and C#. Angular applications

● Proficient in designing and developing APIs (RESTful, security, documentation,

performance, versioning, automation, and quality assurance) and frameworks,

ensuring high performance, scalability, and robust integration with various

systems and platforms.


● Must demonstrate proficiency with the following:


  • C#, .NET Core & .NET Framework 4.8
  • Azure Cloud Services
  • Web API development & integration
  • Typescript, JavaScript Frameworks (e.g. Angular, React etc.)
  • Reactive programming and familiarity with RxJs, NgRx
  • SQL server or equivalent database - writing complex business logic in stored procedures and writing performant queries
  • Unit testing using C#, nUnit, xUnit or similar
  • Unit testing for Front end (JavaScript) is a big plus.


● A thorough understanding of structured programming design techniques and

best-practice design patterns used to create high-quality, robust and readable

code

● Experienced in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.

● Skilled at juggling multiple tasks and staying focused in dynamic, fast-paced

settings with shifting priorities.

● Stellar interpersonal and communication skills.

● Exhibit a customer-focused attitude and the ability to work proactively and

efficiently with an appropriate sense of urgency.

● Show the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines

without compromising quality.

● Demonstrate familiarity with Agile principles and “DevOps movement”

● Understanding of enterprise design patterns and practices

● Microsoft development and database certifications a plus

● Actively engage and be receptive to receiving diverse opinions to reach a

common agreement.

● Make recommendations to management on improving efficiency or streamlining

processes.

● Discuss any performance deficiencies of a team member with management,

including punctuality and attendance issues.

● Provide feedback to management-only on Performance Reviews for the team (do

not discuss issues directly with employees).

Educational Requirements:


● High School Diploma or equivalent required.

● B.S. degree or above in Computer Science or related degree is required

● Relevant professional certifications are preferred
