Senior Software Engineer in Test RoleJob Summary:As a seasoned Senior Software Engineer in Test, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of our software testing frameworks. With a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in test development, including functional and non-functional tests, you will be responsible for implementing best practices in the testing space.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks to ensure high-quality software releases.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test automation requirements.Design and implement complex database queries using SQL to support data-driven testing.Drive the adoption of agile approaches and software engineering practices throughout the organization.Establish and improve product quality metrics through data-driven decision making.Build or improve test automation frameworks using CI/CD integration and pipeline development in Jenkins, Spinnaker, and other similar tools.Implement UI and API automation using Selenium, Robot, Watir, and Gherkin (BDD/TDD) techniques.Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality, reusable test assets.Contribute to the improvement of testing methodologies and best practices within the team.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 7 years of hands-on software test development experience, including both functional and non-functional test development.Passion for driving best practices in the testing space.Proficiency in Python or other object-oriented languages.Strong proficiency in SQL and experience writing complex database queries.Knowledge of software engineering practices and agile approaches.Strong knowledge for establishing and improving product quality.Experience building or improving test automation frameworks.Proficiency in UI and API automation (Selenium, Robot, Watir).Proficiency in Gherkin (BDD/TDD).Benefits:Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology projects.Chance to collaborate with experienced professionals in the field.Professional growth and development opportunities.
