We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Data Support Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring data support issues and resolving them within defined guidelines or escalating them to the right person.This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you will have a high degree of independence and trust, but also have access to the support of the Engineering team leads, Product team leads, and other technology team members.The ideal candidate will have experience working with Python, preferably with libraries such as Pandas, and will be familiar with databases like SQL. Experience with AWS services like S3 and Redshift is also desirable.We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, self-sufficient, and has a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking. The ability to document findings, communicate status, and outline next steps is essential. Additionally, the candidate should be able to judge when issues should be escalated to L2 support and have good troubleshooting skills.Requirements:Fix issues according to defined guidelines and rulesEvaluate current documentation and suggest improvementsSend regular status updatesEngage proactively and provide inputs and feedback on improving the overall Support processQualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or similar technical discipline, or equivalent work experience2+ years of experience as a Technical Support EngineerBenefits:We offer a remote opportunity with rotational shifts, including night and weekend shifts.
