Job SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. This key role involves collaborating with customers on RFQs and technical discussions & sign-off.The ideal candidate will be responsible for:Designing and developing new products, focusing on automotive switches & sensorsCreating 3D models and preparing 2D engineering drawingsConducting DFMEA, DFM, DFA activities to ensure product quality and efficiencyPerforming product costing and feasibility analysis to drive business decisionsCarrying out design analysis, including calculations and tolerance stack-up to guarantee product performanceReviewing and finalizing Designs Vectors (DVVs) in collaboration with the customerSupporting prototype development and validation processesRequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should have:A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automotive engineering or equivalent qualifications4–6 years of hands-on experience in product design, preferably in the automotive sectorStrong knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes to drive innovationProficiency in CAD software, specifically CREO and CATIAA good understanding of product development processes & engineering standards to ensure consistencyStrong communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholdersWhat We OfferIn return for your expertise, we provide:A dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and collaborationOpportunities for professional growth and development to help you reach your full potentialA competitive compensation package that reflects your value to the organization
