Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to collaborate with our Data Platform function, providing technical support and expertise in designing, deploying, and managing secure, scalable, and reusable AWS infrastructure.The ideal candidate will focus on developing Terraform modules, provisioning AWS cloud services, implementing CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure as Code, troubleshooting issues across multiple AWS services, and defining best-practice engineering patterns.Provide technical guidance and support to data feature teams for cloud infrastructure design, provisioning, and operations.Design and develop reusable Terraform modules and CloudFormation templates to improve infrastructure consistency and efficiency.Provision and manage AWS infrastructure spanning networking, security, compute, serverless, and data services.Troubleshoot complex issues across various AWS services, including IAM, VPC, EKS, Lambda, Glue, S3, KMS, CloudWatch, Redshift, and Snowflake integrations.Define and promote cloud engineering patterns, focusing on continuous integration and delivery, secret management, observability, cost optimization, and reliability.Improve platform automation, monitoring, and operational excellence through strategic decision-making and collaboration with cross-functional teams.Embed security principles aligned with industry standards and compliance requirements, such as GxP and ISO 27001.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Terraform and CloudFormation using GitHub Actions, ensuring seamless deployment and version control.Key Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong background in AWS technologies.Excellent knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS services, including IAM, VPC, EKS, Lambda, Glue, S3, KMS, CloudWatch, Redshift, and Snowflake.Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and delivery, containerization, and microservices architecture.Experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively, and provide technical guidance and support.
