Headquartered in the US with operations in India and the EU, Mudrex offers a suite of investment and trading products for both retail and institutional clients — ranging from automated crypto investing and spot trading to high-volume OTC and API-driven trading solutions.We are on a mission to become the most trusted platform for crypto investing globally.Role Overview:We are looking for a dynamic Business Head / VP – Business (India) to lead and scale all aspects of Mudrex's institutional and retail exchange business in India. The role covers P&L ownership for the OTC desk, App exchange business, and API products, with a focus on driving revenue, user growth, partnerships, and compliance-aligned market leadership.The ideal candidate will be a strategic business builder with strong experience in crypto, trading, or fintech, and a proven track record of scaling products and teams in high-growth environments.Key Responsibilities:1. Business Strategy & OwnershipDefine and execute the growth strategy for the Indian exchange business across retail, institutional, OTC, and API segments.Own and drive the business P&L, ensuring sustainable growth in trading volumes, user base, and revenues.Translate global business objectives into localized market strategies.2. Institutional & OTC BusinessLead the OTC trading business — onboarding HNIs, family offices, and corporate clients.Develop structured products and bespoke OTC solutions to meet institutional demand.Build and manage strategic partnerships with market makers, liquidity providers, and compliance stakeholders.3. Retail App BusinessDrive acquisition, retention, and engagement for App-based spot and futures trading.Work closely with marketing, growth, and product teams to enhance user experience and optimize conversion funnels.Oversee pricing, incentives, and campaign strategies to drive consistent volume growth.4. API & Developer EcosystemScale Mudrex's API business by building partnerships with quant funds, algorithmic traders, and institutional clients.Lead GTM efforts for trading API products and developer-focused integrations.5. Leadership & Cross-Functional CollaborationBuild and lead a high-performing business team covering sales, partnerships, and strategy.Collaborate closely with product, compliance, marketing, and engineering teams to align execution with business goals.Drive a data-driven culture with clear performance metrics.Key Requirements:Experience8–15 years of experience in crypto exchanges, fintech, or financial markets.Proven success in P&L ownership, business scaling, and team leadership.Strong understanding of trading products (spot, futures, OTC, API) and crypto market dynamics.Prior experience with regulatory environments and institutional clients is highly preferred.Skills & CompetenciesDeep market understanding of India's crypto and financial ecosystem.Excellent stakeholder management and strategic planning skills.Analytical and data-driven decision-making approach.Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and agility.
